Terms and conditions
Last updated 24 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you (the shop owner or business signing up) and GO HELLO for using GO HELLO POS. By creating an account or installing the software you agree to them.
1.What we provide
GO HELLO POS is billing and stock software that runs on your own computer. We also run a small online service for sign-up, subscriptions, licences and usage totals.
The software is licensed to you, not sold. You may use it for the shops and counters covered by your plan.
2.Your account
You must give accurate details when you sign up and keep your login private. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including the staff logins you create.
You must be authorised to act for the business you register.
3.Free trial
The Start plan includes a free trial. The length is shown when you sign up. No card is needed. The free trial is not offered on the Growth or Business plans, which begin once payment is recorded.
At the end of the trial you need a paid plan to keep creating new bills.
4.Plans and payment
Plans are charged monthly or yearly at the price shown on our pricing page when you subscribe. Prices are in Indian rupees and any applicable tax is added or included as shown.
Payments are recorded against your account by us. Your plan runs from the start to the end date shown in your account. We may change prices for future periods; a change never affects a period you have already paid for.
5.Licences and what happens when a plan ends
Your till is activated with a signed licence key. The licence is checked on your computer, so billing does not need the internet. The till checks in with us when it is online.
When a trial or plan ends you get a grace period of 7 days. After that the till becomes read-only: new sales pause, while reports and returns stay available. Your data is never deleted because a plan ended. Renewing restores full use.
You may not share, copy or resell your licence key, or use it for more shops or counters than your plan allows.
6.Your data
Your products, customers, bills and stock are stored in a database on your own computer. You own that data. You are responsible for backing it up and for keeping the computer secure.
What we receive from your till is described in our privacy policy.
7.Acceptable use
Do not use the software or our online service to break the law, to attack or probe our systems, to reverse engineer the licence checks, or to interfere with other customers.
We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. We will tell you why and, where we reasonably can, give you a chance to fix it first.
8.Availability and support
We work to keep the online service available, but the till is designed so that billing never depends on it. We do not promise the online service will be uninterrupted.
Support is offered through the channels shown in your account.
9.Limits of our responsibility
The software is provided as is. You are responsible for checking that bills, taxes and reports meet the rules that apply to your business.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits or indirect losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it.
10.Cancelling
You can stop using GO HELLO POS at any time. Fees already paid for a period are not refunded unless the law requires it or we agree in writing. Your data stays on your computer.
11.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in your account or by email before it applies. Continuing to use the software after that means you accept the new terms.
12.Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts of the place where GO HELLO is registered.
